Revell 851187 1/110 Snap SR-71A Blackbird Desktop
This is a 1/110 SR-71A Blackbird Plastic Airplane Model Kit.
This Revell-Monogram SnapTite kit is for level-1 modelers, ages 8 and up.
First flown in December 1964, the Lockheed SR-71A spy plane - nicknamed "Blackbird" - was the most dramatic aircraft to ever fly the skies. Designed to be the ultimate "spy-in-the-sky," it is still probably the fastest and highest flying jet plane ever built and was impossible to catch before it was retired from service in 1990. Flying at such high speeds and altitude, the pilots of the SR-71 wore protective flight suits similar to what the astronauts use.
