E-Maxx EVX-2 electric monster truck from Traxxas tears through pavement, water, mud, and snow too! 16.8 volt Traxxas E-Maxx opens up a whole new world of 4x4 adventure and fun. After all, some things you've just got to see to believe. Achieve almost vertical climbs without any slowing or loss of balance; catch major air and land as neatly and precisely as a helicopter landing. Super durable and takes rolls and hits like a champ. To go along with the torquey 14 volt EVX-2 dual-motor power system, key improvements have been engineered into the suspension, driveline, chassis, and electronics to make this the toughest, most versatile E-Maxx ever. Watch the E-Maxx video below and see why this RC truck is so popular.
The new E-Maxx is equipped with Revo® sealed pivot ball suspension; dual-servo steering; an all-new transmission; Revo sealed differentials; a new, longer chassis; and weather-sealed electronics. And that’s just the start. Everywhere you look on E-Maxx Traxxas engineers have thoughtfully integrated new enhancements and features that make E-Maxx stronger, easier to use, and most importantly, more fun!
E-Maxx is equipped with sealed electronics that eliminate boundaries and let you drive where you want to drive. E-Maxx lets you blaze new trails through water, mud, snow and other wet-running conditions that wouldn’t have been possible before. Since water is no longer the enemy, E-Maxx opens up a whole new world of 4x4 adventure and fun.Perhaps the hallmark of the Traxxas E-Maxx is its ground-breaking forward/reverse speed control.
The Traxxas EVX-2 was created exclusively for the E-Maxx by Novak Electronics, the undisputed leader in RC electronics. E-Maxx is equipped with an all-new transmission that’s been engineered to handle nearly 2 ˝ times more torque than the original, and yet do it in a more compact package. Extra-wide gears, smart use of steel components, and the Revo®-Spec Torque-Control™ slipper all combine for the strength needed to handle the extreme power and torque that’s possible with today’s battery and motor technology.
The design positions the motors closer to the chassis for a lower cg and improved handling. An optional bolt-in two-speed is available for shift-on-the-fly gearing options. Revo-Spec large diameter sealed driveshafts and sealed differentials are used for massively increased torque handling and long-lasting performance. Since the diffs are completely sealed, they can be fine-tuned with different oil viscosity to adjust the limited-slip action. The new E-Maxx is engineered to let you explore a whole new kind of driving fun and excitement, without limits on your creativity.
To do that you need a platform you can count on for superior muscle that can stand up to any task. Meet the E-Maxx V-Twin concept, the fastest, most powerful Maxx truck ever made. Traxxas engineers wanted to be sure the transmission, driveline, and chassis were ready to take on extreme power, so they devised a way to harness not one, but two modified Velineon VXL-3s power systems into a single E-Maxx. Crazy? Maybe. But the result was 50+ mph of evil, tire-searing horsepower, rolling wheelies at 40+ mph, explosive torque anywhere, and the most abusive driveline testing imaginable. The new E-Maxx withstood the punishment without breaking a sweat, so it’s ready for you to take one and explore the outer limits of extreme power. The Traxxas EVX-2™ is optimized to deliver massive power from dual 7-cell battery packs. The EVX-2 packs a serious punch, belting out over 16 volts of power to the twin 550 high-torque motors.
Titan 550 motors feature 30% longer motor armatures than a standard 540 size motor for monster big block torque. An internal fan helps keep the motors running at optimal temperatures for maximum power. Mash the throttle for wheelies on demand and absolutely mind-bending monster truck action that only E-Maxx can deliver. Designed by Traxxas, the EVX-2 features three drive profiles, thermal shutdown protection, and Traxxas high-current battery connectors. The EVX-2 also includes our exclusive, patent-pending Training Mode.™ This profile reduces the overall power output of the EVX-2 by 50% making it easier for young or new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power operation. The EVX-2 is manufactured by Traxxas to ensure the highest level of quality and support, plus it’s backed by the exclusive Traxxas Lifetime Electronics Warranty.
The EVX-2 fantastic features include Smart Braking, programmable functions, thermal shutdown, and Novaks famous One-Touch Set-Up. If your E-Maxx bumps into a tree, don't waste your breath running after it; simply switch it into reverse and continue the dust-raising fun.
The E-Maxx comes to you ready-to-run and fully, beautifully painted. The body was specially constructed so as to fit over the chassis perfectly, and there is a huge line of available hop ups; feel free to browse till your heart`s content.
